On first reading that headline appears to suggest we are on the lookout for new leaders – not quite.
Having launched Vitesse in 2017 we have experienced a wide variety of implementations and an equally wide variety of management approaches.
We have learned over the course of time how to get the best out of Vitesse and relay those findings to customers and prospective customers.
Vitesse is a sophisticated piece of software which should form part of the daily operational toolkit – anything short of this and Vitesse will fade in to the background and become less effective.
Vitesse turns millions of data points in to meaningful information for managers to take proactive steps. Managers giving employees feedback about their level of contribution and performance is an essential part of leadership.
Vitesse brings site leadership comes to the fore – site leaders have to determine what successful looks like in terms of performance and how they plan to recognise and even reward those that consistently perform.
The opposite is also true, Vitesse is also identifying where targets are routinely missed as well as individuals who are missing theirs – to effect change, managers have to take the lead.
Vitesse also helps site leaders to run a fairer workplace, everyone is evaluated the same, consequently Vitesse is helping to reduce unintended bias.
Fundamentally, leadership is about getting results through people and it’s a privileged responsibility.
