ModernLogic and OMS (owners of Vitesse®) have announced a new partnership which will revolutionise labour management for their clients.
The partnership appoints ModernLogic as an approved reseller of Vitesse® and combines ModernLogic’s deep experience in operational transformation with Vitesse® – a market leading cloud-based, multi-lingual labour management platform.
As a result, ModernLogic and OMS will be ideally placed to empower operators of warehouses on a global basis (whether retailer, wholesaler, 3PL or otherwise, and in any market sector) to increase their labour-force’s efficiency and reduce their operational costs (often by 10% or more). The ModernLogic/OMS partnership will enable warehouse operators to deliver increases in output and thus enable operators to achieve more with the same resources, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and in doing so, deliver a more precise, equitable, and profitable warehouse operation.
ModernLogic will offer full system-integration (including Vitesse®), rollout, and advisory support, ensuring clients extract the full value from their investment and transition smoothly from old-school reporting to actionable insights. OMS will work alongside ModernLogic in providing support in implementation and ongoing support and maintenance of the Vitesse® element of any ModernLogic provided solution.
Vitesse® breaks the existing paradigms of labour management. For decades, warehouse managers have typically relied on Units per Hour measurements to reward staff, regardless of complexity, distance, or task mix. Vitesse® changes that. By tracking every movement, Vitesse® provides a real-time, nuanced, and objective measure of individual efficiency and utilisation. Thus making workforce management transparent and evidence-based and delivering actionable insights which warehouse operators can immediately act upon.
“Too many warehouses are still run on gut feel and manual tracking,” said Emma McDonald, Customer Success Director at ModernLogic. “With Vitesse®, our clients can measure the right things, improving efficiency across the board, reducing churn, and making the workplace fairer for everyone.”
“Operations leaders are under real pressure to drive efficiency without adding cost – and in most warehouses, the biggest cost by far is wages,” said Martin O’Grady, Co-Founder and CEO at OMS. Martin went on to explain that “Vitesse® self funds by reducing operating costs, enhances operational and cost visibility, and enables employers to recognise and reward consistent performers thereby helping to keep good people longer.
Vitesse® is very quick to implement (typically taking about 8 weeks) and it’s not a huge IT project for clients (typically less than 5 days effort). As a result, Vitesse® delivers value fast, and gives executives clear evidence of its advantageous impact.”
